About Don Juan Magic
Don Juan’s interest in magic started at a young age after receiving a magic kit. He gave his first professional performance at 14, for which he was paid $10. A year later, he honed his skills by working in a local magic shop, performing in more shows, and completing a Chavez magic course. While in college, he performed at the annual Christmas party for the school president and made two appearances on the Tim Reid Celebrity Tennis Tournament specials, which aired on BET and many regional cable stations.
After graduating with a degree in Business Management from Norfolk State University, Don Juan did a tour of colleges in the Southeast. This was followed by appearances at top clubs, schools, festivals, and company events in the Hampton Roads area. He eventually relocated to the DC Metro area, where he gives top-notch performances through Don Juan Magic, which was established over 17 years ago.
Don Juan cites John Hamilton, Dale Salwak, and legendary magician and actor John Calvert as his mentors.
